Happy New Year!
Welcome back to school – we have a busy term coming up – as usual! Dates will start to pop-up now as we confirm events, to start however, there is a Parent’s E-Safety workshop on Tuesday 15th January at 5pm. This is tied into the national ‘Safer Internet Day’ on the 5th February. For those parents of Class 3, they start their swimming lessons this week on Fridays.
We are also creating and building on our international links this term – this will continue our work for the ‘International School Intermediate’ Award from The British Council. We will be linking with schools in China and Kenya. More information will follow about these links.
We also look forward to science week this year – starting on March 11th – and this year we will have a focus on Robots – we will have a Science Exhibition on Friday the 15th from 3pm so you can come along and see what we have been doing that week. If you have connections with the robotics industry and can help with any experiences for the children please do get in touch!
Finally we also have the Class 3 residential trip on March 27th. Mr Tyrrell will be in touch with more information regarding this.
A reminder as well that school uniform – including uniform for PE – is compulsory here at school. You can find information about uniform here.
Thank you again for your continued support of your school – we look forward to a brilliant Spring Term!
