We believe that a wide curriculum, tailored to the children’s interests and needs will encourage our pupils to develop a love of learning.
Ofsted visited our school in June 2019. The inspector was impressed with how well our children behave and the culture we have developed at school – explaining “the school’s harmonius culture promotes pupils’ welfare effectively. Pupils who talked to the inspector said that they feel safe, enjoys school and are listened to.” We were praised for our reading culture here in school from storytelling in early years through to pupils ‘developing a genuine love of reading during their time at Castle Carrock and this prepares them well for the next stage in their education and for life generally.”
